Gannon Tidwell, Branch Manager / Mortgage Advisor
Gannon Tidwell is the Branch Manager of GT Financial. He is responsible for running the day to day operations of the branch while providing his clients a value added mortgage advisory service. Gannon has 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry with a well-rounded background in mortgage planning, mortgage operations and sales management. Gannon is a licensed real estate broker and an active real estate investor. He has extensive experience in the acquisition and financing of Bay Area real estate.
Gannon got his start with PR Mortgage in 1991. Here, he experienced immediate success and was named the company’s rookie of the year. Shortly after, he was selected as the in-house lender for one of San Diego’s largest independent real estate brokerages. In 1995, he gained additional experience as the preferred mortgage partner for a large single family home builder. In 1996, Gannon joined Mortgage Loan Specialists as a Branch Manager. He relocated to San Francisco and was charged with opening the company's first Bay Area office. Gannon eventually branched out of Mortgage Loan Specialists and in 2001 he launched his own mortgage firm, GT Financial. He has been a consistent top producer and in 2002 was recognized by The Mortgage Originator Magazine as one of the top 200 Loan Agents in the nation with personal funding volume in excess of 100 million.
In May of 2010, GT Financial merged with Opes Advisors and Gannon now manages their San Francisco Office.
Gannon lives with his wife and two kids in Mill Valley. He is an active sports and outdoor enthusiast and loves to travel. He also supports numerous local and national charities.

George Pugsley, Mortgage Advisor
George Pugsley joined GT Financial as Mortgage Advisor in 2001 and boasts over 10 years of real estate financing experience.George’s unparalleled customer service has lead to one of the highest client satisfaction ratings for Mortgage Advisors at GT Financial.
George is focused on the Bay Area’s high net worth clientele, for whom he implements strategic mortgage plans to balance cash flow, tax considerations, asset allocation and interest rate risk minimization strategies. By utilizing this approach and vast knowledge of financial markets, George works closely with some of the Bay Area’s top financial planners and their clients. In addition, George currently manages one of GT Financial’s top strategic accounts, which is a Fortune #20 Global Financing Planning Company.
Prior to GT Financial, George worked for more than 8 years as a mortgage broker with Capital Lending Resources. He was also in commercial real estate for 6 years, as a partner with the firm Lee & Associates.

Ann Bassi, Mortgage Advisor
Ann Bassi is a seasoned mortgage veteran, joining GT Financial in 2002. She is also a recognized Tenancy In Common financing expert. She has been at the fore front of the TIC financing evolution and is one of San Francisco’s top TIC Loan Agents. Ann has come to master the art of handling multiple buyers with varied income and credit and has consistently provided favorable financing for GT Financial’s clientele.
Ann Bassi has more than 10 years of experience in strategic partnership development, with the last 5 years focused on the San Francisco Real Estate market. Prior to joining GT Financial, Ann served in positions in Product Management and Sales in the technology arena. Ann received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara; Master of Science in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University; and M.B.A. from San Francisco State University.

Jim Farris, Mortgage Advisor
The Farris Mortgage Team has a combined experience of 9 years in the mortgage brokerage business, with Jim acting as the driving force behind their success. During this tenure, Jim has gained a wide range of lending expertise and has been a perennial top producer. He is an expert in creative finance solutions and is on his way to becoming a certified mortgage planning specialist. Jim is able to offer residential, group and individual TIC loans, commercial, construction and private equity finance options for his clients. Ken Wan, Mortgage Advisor
Ken has been working in the mortgage industry since 2004. Starting as an underwriter with Provident Funding, Ken has an intimate knowledge of the entire real estate financing process. His affinity for numbers and creative mindset has helped his clients obtain previously denied financing.
Prior to joining GT Financial, Ken managed a branch office for California Mortgage Advisors where he has consistently closed over $50 million a year.

Miesha Morgret, Operations Manager
Miesha Morgret manages and directs the daily activities of the company. She is responsible for all operating functions, which include accounting, HR, IT, Vendor Management and the policies and procedures for all office operations.
Previously, Miesha was the Vice President of a private commercial development firm and was responsible for acquiring, managing and re-leasing over one million square feet of neighborhood shopping centers within the states of California, Hawaii and Texas. Always diverse, Miesha also worked to assemble loan submittals for commercial conduit financing, assembled ground up retail developments and conducted the re-sale of several shopping centers. Miesha’s personal interests in both commercial and residential real estate markets led her to pursue a career in real estate.
Miesha is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California. She also sits on the Board as Treasurer of the HOA of her residence.

Nikki Lawrence, Senior Loan Processor
Nikki Lawrence, a Senior Loan Processor, has worked in the mortgage industry for over 15 years. During her tenure, she has developed an expertise in residential mortgage guidelines. Prior to joining GT Financial, Nikki owned and operated an independent mortgage processing company called The Loan Process. She also spent many years managing processing departments for both wholesale and retail lenders.
Nikki, a mortgage professional her entire career, brings integrity, knowledge and efficiency into every mortgage transaction. Her goal is to provide a smooth, hassle-free loan experience to GT Financial’s clients.
